hi! i was wondering on my 91 eclipse 4g63 nt.. to advance timing all the way using the cas... would i turn it clockwise towards the exhaust manifold.. or counter clockwise towards the intake? thank u.. yes my timing is fine.. its a dirt track car and i want it advanced fully using the cas. please do not start talking about my timing belt.. marks..etc! thank u

??????

The search I did here on DSM tuners says clockwise the way the motor spins will retard an counter clockwise opposite way motor spins will advance it.

I just get out the timing light and set it. I assume you have one.

Clockwise or counterclockwise depend on where your standing but you have right idea, turn the sensor against the direction of rotation advances the timing and with the direction retards it.

IIRC, Turning the CAS in the direction of the exhaust manifold advances it.
