cas adjustment

So i looked on the site and couldn't find any good info so i'm making this to get the info i need. i have a 95 talon tsi awd and i put a 6bolt swap in it well it runs to rich and hi rpms and i was wondering if i could adjust my cas? would that make a difference i have the black top cas and if i did adjust it how would i do it ? i know i can just turn it but do i do it wile the car is running or no because i don't want to break something.

You said it runs rich. But more info would be helpfull to help you figure out you problem.

-Do you have a wideband O2 sensor? Are you looking at a ECMLink AFR est. value?

-Do you have any type of fuel tuning setup? SAFC, ECMLink, AEM,

-What do you have for a fuel pump?, do you still have the stock fuel pressure regulator, is your fuel pump rewired?, how much voltage are you seeing at the ful pump?

-When does the car seem to richen up?... just at idle?, the same percentage all the time?, only at WOT?

It is not a good idea to try to fix a fuel issue by messing with base timing.

Verify your base timing is correct with a timing light, answer the above questions and we'll be able to help you out a lot easier.

i have a wide band and safc just haven't hooked it up and i don't know how to use a time light on this car just the older cars. 255lph afpr

You are supposed to adjust it wile the car is running with a timing light hooked up. But be carful how far you adjust it. just loosen the bolts enough to move it and adjust from there
