Price doesn't natter much, but al the carpet on ebay and the places i have been calling offers only front replacement. This does not cover the rear seat area (being that i don't have a rear seat). Anyone know of any that has a one piece setup?

Being the cars were all built with rear seats, you're on your own to get that area capeted. Time to get friendly with an upholstery shop.

Get some particle board and some foam padding and an old bedsheet (a flatsheet actually). cut the foam to fit in the spots where the two seats were You might have to stack a couple of pads on top of each other. cut the particle board to fit over all of the foam, and then wrap it in the bedsheet and staple the sheet together. Then put carpetting on. Get a big piece of carpet and cut it to fit the trunk and your backseat area, so it will look better. You can even use extra carpet for the sides around your speakers

Have you done this? If you have, PLEASE post pics. I'm doing something very similar to this in a few weeks, and I want to see how it will look.

I haven't done this to my car, I'm still debating on it. We did it to my buddy's 97 gst and it looked clean. I'll see if I can get him to take some pics and post them, or mail them to me or something.

I called http://www.1aauto.com/ and they state that they have a carpet for the 1991... is that carpet the same for the 1990?

Thats funny because i ordered it front there a week ago. They also sent extra carpet for the rear sections $208 was the total for carpet, 2 yards of extra and shipping.

That sounds high... On the site it says the carpet is about 110 and shipping to any of the 48 lower states is $16. They charged you that much for an extra couple of yards? Unless your carpet is different from what I am going to order.

Hi again,
Extra Yardage on all the normal (non-extreme color) cutpile colors is $30 per yard, and it is cut off of a 70 inch wide roll. It is a pretty good size piece of carpet so it has to ship in a seperate box than the carpet itself. Anywho, if you have any questions let me know, I will be at work shortly 888-844-3393

The 95-99 coupe and the convertible are different carpets. The floor in the rear seat area is different between the two. With enough effort you may be able to make it look presentable if you are desperate and creative.

ok I just did a search for new carpet and it came up w/ nothing. I got some tan carpet and it's pretty tired,so I was wanting to just buy some new replacement carpet. Does anyone know where I can find some new replacement carpet for a 1g? thanks
