Car won't start

Car doesn't start, battery checks out. One click upon ignition turn, but no cranking or anything. The car is able to move (pushed) while in gear though, so that could be a clue to the problem. Any thoughts?

Have you tested the starter? or checked any fuses

Check your fuses and make sure none of em are fried.

What happened previously? anything bad, car stall, weird noises, or it was just parked for the night?

Check the starter and its connections.

The way I'm understanding this is, you won't even be able to push start the car.

Nothing happened previously, it was running find as far as I could tell the previous night. Then all of a sudden, the next morning, nothing. I'm having it towed down to my shop and they're going to have a look at it.

Bad starter probably. If you hear a click when you turn the key that's the starter.

That's what i thought, but I figured I'd take it down to my mechanic anyway, since I needed some other stuff done.

Also check the clutch safety switch. You can just unplug it to bypass.

Damnit, too late. Well, I needed to fix a lot of other problems anyway, so I guess it's not all bad. Mitsubishi... wake up and fix your car... THEN drive.
