Quick question..would an unproperly tuned SAFC not let my car start up? Becuase i dont have a logger or wideband yet so i put m settings at about +10 across the board on hi and low thrl with 550cc injectors and a bigger fuel pump but when i turn over the car the RPMs go to about 1500..drop to 1000, stay there for a little then the car shuts off. My check engine light doesnt go on when the car shuts off after this happens, but my battery and oil light does. I know the battery is charged i just charged it again cause the car was in my garage for awhile. The SAFC settings are how there supposed to be but would a unproperly tuned SAFC not let my car start? If i have bigger injectors what should i put my settings at just to keep it running..i thought i would correct by -10 instead of +10 because im getting more fuel but correct -10 made it worse. Any suggestions?

make sure your s-afc is set to the Karman setting. I know that was my first problem when my car was dying. I felt pretty stupid to

o and, make sure its on 4cyl with the arrow going up :thumb:

Yeah i got that down..i had the same problem you did where it wouldnt stay going..it was my car type etc settings..but that was fixed and i still have this problem.

I'd say get a new battery, or get one out of a friends car that's running so you can troubleshoot. I've had my car garaged a few times and when the battery dies, it's DEAD!!! I could recharge it all I want and it would do what you are describing. Got a new battery and never had the problem afterwards.

Just a thought...
