car wont start! i need help

I recently bought a 1993 TSI Talon and its been in the garage for a few weeks. Yesterday i was supposed to take it to a shop to get the timing belt done and the car wont start. the only thing i did since it last started was install a sound system. my battery is brand new. When i went to start it, the car cranked over and i pulled the fuel line off and fuel is coming out. Im going to check the wires and plugs after school today. but do you ahve any ideas of what it could be? i need to get it fixed today so i can bring it to the shop. thanks

check the coil pack and get some ether (starting fluid) to start the vehicle. you might of flooded the cylinders. if so take the wires of the spark plugs out of the engine and turn the key to try to start the vehicle. the engine wont start with the wires not being in there. that step removes all the gas and resets the mixture and lets you start all over. if you have to put some oil into the cylinders (not alot like one or maybe two cap fulls off the container that the oil comes in) to lube them up because the walls might be dry and could put some excessive wear on the walls.

hey this is his bud that been helping him work on the car. ok we did a compression test and 1,2,4 all have 150 compression but 3 has 90. it should still start tho. and we did spark tests and are good too. only thing we are down to is fuel i guess. check the MPI relays . somsone told me we may have fried the CAS when we steam cleaned teh engine but i dunno cant tell by looking at it. and we went to the shop to look at it and the guy taht sold the car to my friend has the wires in teh wrong order on teh coil packs but it still started. and today it would sputter a tiny bit like it wanted to start when teh coil where in the wrong order. but wen we put it the right order there was no sputter. the thing we and many friends came down to is fuel. we think maybe not enough fuel pressure. but we couldnt find a shradder valve to test the pressure. so what else can we test? did have time to check the fuel pump power but we hear it start up and shit. any ideas? thanks
