I just installed my dejon tool intake and the car won't pull as it used too. I thought it was suppose to pull harder. What i did was put a breather on the hose coming from the pcv valve, and capped the hose from the evap cansiter...but my friend has the same setup, and no problems...any ideas whats going wrong with mine? i tried tightening the screws again, but looks fine...

When i first installed my dejon intake pipe it did the same thing too. Double check your install and drive the car around for about 10 mins. It took about 10 mins before my car adjusted to the new amount of air. I also installed the uicp and intake pipe at same time with 1gbov. The car feels a whole lot better now. Check your install and give it time to adjust to the cpu. If you still have problems you probably have a leak somewhere. Id would say try a boost leak test. Or just make sure all your vacumes are hooked up correctly and not kinda on. Also check your boost see how much your running mine jumped from 14psi stock to 20 psi and 20psi the car felt slow. So i decided to install my mbc i had sitting around. And set it to 16psi. Good luck with your car i hope you get it up and running good again. O i almost forgot if you have a safc2 check your settings when i unpluged my battery for the install it reset it and the settings wern't on Karman any more.

Ya i have driven it for more than 10 minutes...and i didnt disconnected the battery, and i got my mbc at like 16 too...so those are fine...the only problem might be a leak and i dont have a boost leak tester... could i have broken something in the MAS like the honeycombs, because I really pushed on it trying to get the intake on.

i dont know about your turbo cars but with my 420a whenever i get install sheets it always tells me to wait 48 hours before i can feel a difference for my ecu

i just isntalled the stock one back on...wow much better..i dont know i might call dejon and ask them to add that charcoal canister tube/valve cover vent hose..

You say you didnt disconnect the battery at all throughout the process? First and foremost, whenever you're dealing with anything electronic, you disconnect the battery first, ground pole THEN positive. You want the spark to be on the ground side because if you have the spark on the pos side it goes straight for the ECU. But past that, your car is still using the old curves. Disconnect your battery for a half an hour, then put it back in and drive it.

Also, get the nipple for the evap cannister, because youre wasting like an 1/8th of your tank right there. Gas is a liquid that quickly evaporates, and that hose you disconnected takes the fuel vapors and injects it into the incoming air.

mines acted funny too when i put my knN and hard pipe and it felt normal driving through city but on the highway felt like I had less top end, and I left my battery disconnect over night and the nxt day it felt good again.

i already had CEL so I'm not sure. The CEL reads the tps code and it always has... I might have to try the battery test

what nipple? what does the nipple do? cap it? because i capped it with a bolt.

I don't know about you but i just installed my dejon intake with ALL the nipples WITHOUT disconnecting my battery. I put it on tightened down everything really tight and took it for a test run. It pulled so hard! I could deffinately feal a difference. I'm confused when you say "you have to disconnect the battery whenever your messing with electricity"? Because, all i did was took off my K&M filter, pushed my MAS toward the passanger side fender a little bit and slid the intake right on. I didn't disconnect anything electrical
