i just installed my comp cams put everything back together now it wont start i have checked and double checked the timing it is right on. i did find that the cas was broke so i got a new one and no change it cranks and cranks. any suggestions

yes i am getting apark and fuel, it will crank crank and crank but no fire. it will try and start after a few seonds of cranking but nothing i am getting no idle or anything.

plug wires are correct, i didnt do anything to the ecu but i will check it out. are there any other places to check to look for all wire harness parts are correct dont know what else it could be

not to sound dumb but did you let the lifters bleed down? like did you just put the cams in and try starting it?(with the cams in for less than three hours)?

Coolant temp sensor is a possibility. Did you install the CAS properly? While the engine is at TDC on piston #1 the indention on the CAS should be facing toward the front of the car.

Had a problem like yours last year on a set of Comp 200s. The slot on the back of the intake cam was indexed wrong. Had to remove them and send back to Comp Cams for a new set.
