 i have a 1996 n/t eclipse. once in a while the car does not want to start. took it to the local garage and they change the o2 sensor and the tps sensor. about 24 hours later the car starting to act up again. at first when i would try to start the car, it would start up then die right back down(but once you would hold the gas pedel it would start). today i went to the gas station and when i went to leave, the car starting but then started to bog idle at about 500 rpm's. then i tried to start it again it just cranks over and over. i checked the spark and i am getting really good spark but i did not get the chance yet to check the fuel. if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appriciated. thanks to anyone who has any leads or ideas on what my problem could be.

I'm currently having a similar problem with my 97GSX .. sometimes it starts fine.. sometimes it almost starts but then dies (then it just sits and cranks forever) .. I get perfect spark as well. I'm thinking its something related to the fuel pump or possibly a dirty fuel filter.. just haven't had the time to look into it yet. Anyone else had a similar problem?

You might want to also check your maf sensor. I had a problem simalar to yours in one of my previous cars.
