car wouldn't start a few days ago..
The battery, starter and solenoid, starter relay are all checked and good.
Didn't check ignition switch yet.
I connected a jumper cable from the positive battery terminal to the terminal on the top of the starter solenoid (black wire terminal) the car starts and runs.
When the black wire is hooked up to the solenoid terminal it's getting zero voltage so i figure the wire is bad.
Instead of digging that wire out of the harness and replacing it and probably having to fix other stuff anyway, is there an ingenious way to install a wire linking the positive battery terminal to the starter solenoid terminal and having a switch so i can start it that way, couldn't find much on push button start and i don't really care about security i'd rather not use a key at all, any suggestions? thanks!
