i have a problem my 95 eclipse is dead and i have to choses sell it or get it fix

what should i do i just droped about 1200 on the suspension adj shocks and strut, tein springs, camber kit, new ball joints, and a little more stuff
i even had carbon fiber fenders ready to go.

what sholud i do if i sell it who would want it there is noting wrong but the engine it thought a bearing.it has a new clutch and a the trans it rebuilt with less than 200 miles on it
i have money to buy a new car but what can i do with this one. if i chose to sell it how much sholud i sell it for.there i :dsm: :dsm:

well, look at it this way...
you sell it bad motor, it's worth about 800-1300 bucks

fix it.

might as well you are fully invested in it!

i was thinking that if some one wnted it i could sell it as a shell for 2000 that should be far or do you guys think it should be more or less
because with all that stuff and more i could get that price
i know the trans it self is 1000 buck and the clutch is still under warranty.then the suspension. every thing is good except the motor. i just cant decide i have a good amount to but down on a new car if i can sell the old car i will have more money
if this is mess up i am kind of frustured at this i love my car but how could it do this to me.

One of the major problems is how is the seller going to transport the shell. Because of this PITA they seller isnt willing to shell out top dollar. Also I'm sure he would be able to do all the nice mods you have done to a running car and come out a head from having to find an engine and swap it out and hope it works.

Bottom line, as others have said your looking at 1-1400 tops. You can still find "running" cars in the 1500-2000 range that have a host of problems and a car that runs with problems is always better than a car that does not run.

the engine thats all it has a new shep built trans new clutch with a warrent still on it.
the trans is ok and the suspension is better than when it came of the dealer ship camber kits all around tein springs new ball joints aand new bolts.the interoir is good. tints all around.i basicly after i bought it went in steps and change every thing if it was bad changed it. the engine spun a bearing and the piston came out the side. it just sits in my garage and looks sad. i was only see if some would want to buy it.and how much it can go for

I would just get a new engine for the car, that way all the time and money you have spent on the car so far will not go to waste. :dsm:
