car still jumps @ 6k with NEW 2600 and resurfaced flywheel...what else could it be?

like the title says, while the clutch is down and im in 1st gear, the car will start moving under its own power @ 6k WITH THE CLUTCH IN...any help or other suggestions would be great. also, car has a NEW clutch master and a good working slave cylinder...thanks ahead of time!

Is the clutch engaging right off the floor or more mid throw?

Dont' some people with 1Gs shim the pivot ball? Not sure how big a difference if any that makes.

kind of...but i have the shaft out as far as it'll go w/o poping out...

Well the clutch obviously isn't disengaging all the way. Does it do it if you(QUICKLY) push in the clutch and rev it to 6k(quickly). I've been told that the rubber clutch hoses flex can make or break you if you have low disengagment point. The guy I'm buying a car from said he's put a SS clutch line on two other cars of his and it fixed his shifting problem.

Something like that says that this 1/4" longer slave rod will allow more adjustment without maxing out. I've read that this can be a problem and people have done this. I'm getting a car that I might have to do this with. I think it was like 35$.

I'm not saying This is your problem and that is the fix. I'm saying it could be, so evaluate the information and make your call.

PS. I've READ that if you can pull the clutch petal up by hand(while its in the resting position) that it needs some repair due to being worn out...just throwing that out there as something else to look into. I think there is a VFAQ on that particular repair.
