This is weird. Fixed all the boost leaks today, holds 1 psi less then i put in the system. When i drive it and build boost, then shift the car stalls after the bov opens and i keep the clutch in. The greddy bov is recirculated, and i have no loose clamps.

If your BOV is fluttering when you let off("chu chu chu chu chu" sound) It is adjusted too hard, and could definatly be making this happen

If it is set to soft, it could be open during idle. Thus, an improper adjustment.

And this. you have to find the sweet spot.

It's all good ;) The terms get used incorrectly sometimes. Not to say that it couldn't be surging. But I don't think it would be. Depending on how many psi OP is running.

Well to me it sounds like a bit compressor surge (turkey gobble) mixed in with the greddy type s. Im running 15 psi. Basically when i get on it hard over 3000 rpm and shift the rpms drop all the way down to 0 if i dont shift fast enough. The car idles fine, 16inhq at idle ( im at 6000 ft altitude). I will try adjusting the bov today.

That "turkey gobble" noise you are hearing, is more than likely BOV flutter. I know the exact sound you are referring to. My old Greddy RS did the same thing. I now have the Greddy Type-S. I would also be willing to bet that you are not getting the signature "Type-S" ping either.

more of a nice WHOOSH with a little gobble. I will try to soften it up a bit. But once i get this fixed i can't wait to go for a ride! 15psi pulls like a motha!

i got the bov adjusted, i backed it out 4 turns and it only does half the time, basically wot. Im building 15 psi sometimes it overboosts to 18 but it still stalls out when i get on it really hard.

You do have the bov recirculated correct? If your just letting it blow off to atmosphere then that would def cause this to happen
