I have a 97 talon with a 6-bolt block and 91' head. I replaced the intake manifold gasket, and now I can't get the car to idle right. The car will start up and rev to about 2k then stumble, and immediately die. If I press on the gas I can keep it running but it will die on its own. I did swap in a coil pack from a 95' but I'm positive I have the wires in order. I'm thinking it is a vacuum line, or maybe a leak. I can't quite figure it out though. Any help would be great. Thanks

here is a suggestion to find vaccuum leaks you can either build and use a boost leak tester to find the vaccuum leak or you can get some starting fluid and spray it around the vaccuum lines and intake manifold and if the rpms go up then you have found your vaccuum leak. personal experience tells me that you've gotten the intake manifold gasket folded and that is why you got the problem you have.
