something like this has been talked about but my symptoms are different.
My car use to be able to drive but it would die most of the time about 10min in driving or just randomly.
Now my car will start and die immediatly on me from I am sure me messing with these two wires by touching them to my battery and DVOM them to check for current or voltage and got sparks from one (black) touching to ground or power and the other (red) nothing.
I am pretty sure it has been dieing due to these wires just being open and not connected to anything if anyone has an idea were these go or what they are for that would be great

Coming from the head? Are you sure its timed properly? Everything torqued back to spec under the valve cover? Id suspect you may have a damaged valve. Can you get your hands on a compression/leakdown tester?

A clogged fuel pump or filter could DEF cause this issue. If there was no fuel or very little, that may also cause a situation in your combustion chamber and make a knocking noise.

tomarrow ill do some test pressure at the regulator, check pump resistance/ voltage, check at filter and injectors, check relay and let you know what i find

Well im thinking on ordering a Walbro for 85 on ebay and hopefully that could fix it or make it better, and ill also do fuel test

To make an engine run, you need 4 things
1. Air
2. Ignition
3. Fuel
4. Compression

It's really quite simple to check those things, even easier with a scantool with realtime data on it.
But yeah, if you have no pressure at the rail, back track from there.
Filter, lines, pump, could be a tank issue, could be as simple as your gas cap.

Also, the reason the code reader did not get codes is that there are none. When you start your car the cel comes on ( check engine light) as it goes through it's diagnostic self test. If a code is present it will be lit after that cycle.
