Ok I did the search I could not really find what is happenening to me. In September I posted that I hit a massive pothole and my car died, had full electronics car just wouldnt crank over. disconnected the battery and all of a sudden the car just started and was fine, well yesterday same thing but i went for a drive everything was great until I made a left turn then the car just died. so i figured what worked before would work again so I disconnected the battery all the lights on the dash came on pressed the clutch turned the key and everything went dead and i heard 2 clicks (relays I guess). When it warms up i will check the grounds but anyone have any other ideas or have this happen to them before.

Sounds like an issue with a battery cable or perhaps a loose connector to an important component such as the cam or crank angle sensor or the coil packs or the fuel pump but based on the clicking relays and total electronics failure you are going to be looking close to the battery.

Ok thanks I am going to check by the battery as soon as I get a chance the alternator is good the battery needs a charge now but when this originally happened it was good, so i will check it out, based on what happened the first time I am gonna say it might in fact be soemthing with the Cas or ignition or something because when it first happened it was cranking just not turning over, the other day it just shut off and wouldnt crank at all........Uhh I hate electrical problems. thanks for the help if anyone else has ideas i would appreciate them.

I'm having similar problems. When I'm slowing down to a red light or stop sign, I'll put the car in neutral, and the rpm's drop as usual, than she shuts off on me. I'll usually pop the clutch and she starts back up. Sometimes the idle drops very low, under 700rpm, and the lights will flicker off for a second, and the rpm's pick back up til normal.

HELP ! LOL, thanks.

Bad battery or cables. If that's not it the next suspect would be the alternator.

I had that same exact problem were the gauges just went nuts and the car shut off. I tried to hook my laptop up to it thru dsmlink and it wouldnt read anything from the ecu.

well I got tired of jumpstarting the car every week so I got a new battery and everything is great.

best thing to do is check all grounds and connections one bad ground can cause many problems and have you searching for hours and hours for something thats just simply a lose ground bolt
