Car dies out of no where

Well im coming home from work at 12am, i pull into my driveway then the motor just stalls.

Popped the hood, first things i check for is my timing belt still there and check for tension, thats fine. I look for any boost leaks that can be easily noticed no leaks.

All my motor does now is just crank but wont start.

Ive been having a problem with getting the car to start say in the morning, after its been sitting for a while or i just shut it off and go back to start it takes a while.

But just right now as i was cranking the motor, i let off and noticed the stock boost gauge clicking up and down. Which made me believe its the ecu.


Couple weeks ago it threw a cel for idle control, i replaced the isc, reset the ecu and on my way to work today it threw another code. I have to get that checked out.


I can't check for fuel or spark till the morning. Its a bummer ive been driving it for a month only.

pull the ecu and see if anything is fried on it. Same thing happened to me and it was the ISC driver

Well i went out to it this morning. It ran for like 2 seconds then died again, wouldn't start after that.

I only had enough time before work to check for spark, no spark in any cylinder. Wanted to check for fuel but it started pouring rain outside.

Also my timing belt used to have the normal slack now its all stiff.

Its weird it ran.

You need to check your timing it may be off by a tooth or so

I Would Figure Out The No Spark Thing Before You Do Anything Else, What Was That Second Code? That Might Give You Some Insight On The Problem
