Car cutting out

my friend has a 96 rs but most the time he turns left his car cuts out acting like its not getting gas and sometimes it does it when he is taking off normal. anyone have any ideas?

my car did the same thing. my problem was my O2 sensor. replaced that and it was fixed. i also cleaned everypart that moved(ie , throttle body, egr, tps, ) now my car is running great.

Make sure the battery is bolted down and not shorting against the hood or strut bar. Run a cover on the + terminal.

If battery is bolted down then your fuel pickup tube (or baffles) in the gas tank is most likely broken or bent. (ps: It won't be your O2 sensor).
