Hey guys im new on here and need a answer as this car is my dd. I just put a mbc on it and now it cuts out under boost then it will kick in and out and so on. It just started this wen I put on the mbc it is a cheap one. The only mods I have is front mount intercooler and pipeing kit I set the boost to 14 and I also have no stock mbcs at all plugged in and also have bad o2 bank 1 sensor 2

I had a similair problem on my 2g when i used the stock bov with my new b16g. it would boost till 9 pounds then car would like shut off then come right back on. I got a hks and that fixed it.

That sounds to me like the stock surge valve was faulty or leaking

Like others have said multiple times bypass the MBC for now and BOOST leak TEST already!!! If you want to be able to control you fuel get something to tune with. Check out vfaq.com and you can build your own blt for cheap.

Just another voice to add. Boost leak test. if ya cant do one asap just tighten al l your charge pipe clamps and check your vacuum lines. 10 min worth of work. if problem persists...boost leak asap regardless if your result is positive or negative.

Ok guys thanks alot for the help. I have a greddy bov and its missing adjustment screw it has tape on it maybe thats an issue LOL
