40-60% throttle/or under boost the car cuts in and out like sputtering

Well lets see I thought it was a boost leak, but thats not the case i tested it today. held 11 psi.
Recent installs: FMIC, Greddy type RS, just put recirc kit on today.

Problem is under accerlation at about 40-60% throttle/or under boost the car cuts in and out like sputtering. If you ease into the gas it runs fine, with little or no boost. but if you get the rpms up over 5500 or so the car runs like a bat out of hell. I need some suggestions or what could be causing this...knock sensor, cam senor, bad maf(i'm gonna try a different one tomorrow), injectors? In need of help asap before i like this ****** ***** ***** ****** ***** thing on FIRE!!!!

Sounds like you need go through and start checking your ignition and fuel systems. Start with your plugs and work your way up.
 
NGK plugs/wires which were changed out like 3 months ago, when i took the old plugs out they look black as all hell, not any noticable oil in the holes either. I pulled the plugs agbout 2 weeks ago and they still looked good. I'll deff still check em ou thou, you never know. Wires/boots are all in good shape.

yea i'm sure i could have held more than 11psi but that just all i did..

I had a shop tell me its my ecu, so i replaced that with another that didn't solve anything plus i sent the "bad" one off to get refurbished. nice 300 bucks waste of money.

Come on fellas i'm sure there are many more possiblities i'm just tryin to narrow this problem down. been like this for like 6 months, actually day after i bought it i relized it.:cry::cry:
 
no, its really bad when you stomp on it, which i never do anymore. but even easyin into a bit, a few psi is fine, like 2-3 maybe even 4 if you have a light foot. you can cruise like that, but once you get the throttle like extra pressure it starts sputtering and jumpin, popping what ever you wanna call it.I don't really know the numbers but you know what i'm saying?
 
I just ran over 66k, pretty low right for an 11 year old car. one of the reasons i picked it up. So i would think my turbo wouldn't go bad. Wouldn't need another t-25, I plan on ordering a big 16g and 550s. I wanted to make sure the thing was running right before i ordered.
 
Something isnt right with your ignition. Did you test your CAS, coils, power transistor, ohm your plug wires, and regap your plugs?

You should do a boost leak test up to 20 psi or so.
 
I'll give that stuff a shot tomorrow, as its pretty nasty weather today. Test at 20psi? thats seems like quite a bit just for a test. but once again i'm open to anything. The car was doing these problems before i changed out the plugs/wires..thats y i changed them acutally thought it would help but...didnt'!
