Well, for a little while after getting my car going, it ran good, boosted hard and didnt have any problems. Now though, when i try for full boost (14psi) it gets there and just starts sputtering and popping, kind of like its really rich, i did a boost leak test, and got a very small leak on the backside of the intake manifold, it only showed up at 10 psi or so, and i dont think that a leak that small would be bad enough to cause this, this sputtering is really jerky... what should i look for? i reused the throttle body gasket after i had it all apart, do you think i should run down the list (plugs, wires, TB gaskets) and see what i get? i hate spending money on things that arent bad, i replaced the intake manifold gasket, so i am pretty sure that it is ok, plus it only does it under full boost... I just want to see what some of you guys think my problem is, so i can look into it..thanks! :dsm:

Check your plugs. Its FREE! How much pressure did you use when you did your boost leak test?

I would say plug also.turbo cars go through plugs like mad.how is your turbo to ex-manifold gasket?...that has happend to me before.

i pressurized it to 15 psi, i am pretty sure that the exhaust manifold gasket is still in good shape... how do you know when that is leaking?? i'll look into getting some new plugs.. i also think that i am in need for a new set. thanks guys!
