cant remove rear shock bolt

the nut is turning as i try to remove the bolt. I have tried using a wrench to hold the nut but the bolt seems to only rotate a bit and then it goes back, almost like if the bolt is stuck to the strut bushing.
 
Soak it w/ PB blaster for a few hours. If that doesn't do it you might need to cut it or torch it. Sometimes just heating it up helps crack the nut loose.

Good luck there . Mine was a female dog to get off . Like stated . PB Blaster , heat , breaker bar w/ pipe on it for more leverage .

After I got the bolt out I had to rip the strut off of the bushing . Then cut the bushing off . Then the steel sleeve . Sucks but you can get . :thumb:
 
thanks guys after 3 hours of frustrations it is done, but i had to use pb blaster, heat, breaker bar. the funny thing is that the other side came loose without a problem i just put a wrench and pulled with a breaker bar and it came out. i was already expecting to start struggling but i guess i was just lucky
