Ok so I was swapping out the rear diff for my new one and the drivers side (since its lsd) has a smaller spline towards the end. ANd the old c clip that clips the axle in to place in the rear diff broke. Now I cant find one and it's really pissing me off its a discontinued part and now my car's just sitting outside with no rear diff going no where. So I called dsm graveyard and Jon there (dont know his last name but he went on about the custom axles they were making) and he said he could get my one from a 1g but for $25 over night shipped. Well I don't see spending $25 for a little $3 part so I would like to know as quick as possible if anyone know's of other car's that use the same size clip. Autozone tried to sell me a damn clip that holds in bearrings! :banghead::banghead:

Thats true but one of my friends pointed out that how much does the axle move back and forth? I was going to do that but Im only playing on making 300awhp in the next year or so. So I want more input though on what other people think because the logic work's but I have a 2g whats the brake assembly and tire on? Isnt it the axle?

I have a lsd rear diff

Update: Ok so I ordered a clip from dsm graveyard and I was supposed to get it today well Im not getting it until tommorow. SO The new clip I boguht for the drivers side was a little to big. I cut it ground the side down a bit for it to fit. Well it does i put the end of the axle inside the rear diff and now it wont come out with a crow bar so I'm not worried about the axle coming out at all. Tell me what your think guy's the rear diff spin's fine and is solid. SO YIPPEEE! Now to drive it for the first time tommorow. But let me tell you what it was a pain in the butt to find one of those clip's and I ended up using a clip tha was bigger for the other axle and cut and ground it to the right side and now I cna drive it.

Edit: It didn't work never mind dammit!
