Ok ive replaced about 2 14b turbos and they both ran fine before so i know its not the turbos that me and my friend replaced but rather something else that i cant figure out right now we put one on and it does not boost past 7 psi then we checked the wastegauge
and the flapper thats not it either , we decided to replace the turbo again and did the same process with the other one checked everything still not boosting past 7psi
what could it be .............boost leak , turbo , hg etc

any input is appreciated
thanx

Thanx i will follow up on that tomorrow my friend has a boost solenoid on his car that works so i will use his n check ....then its off to boost leak check

thanx for the input :thumb:

7 psi is about what you'll see if the wastegate is connected directly to the turbo outlet nipple.
Stock from the factory there is a restrictor in the turbo nipple outlet hose to keep the boost pressure from overpowering the ability of the BCS to bleed off some of the pressure reaching the WGA and raise the boost. If it's missing the BSC is nutered and you'll get whatever boost the WGA spring sets.
