Can you tell me what these wires are?

Ok I am trying to figure out what these two wires that I have circled in red below are for? I was rewiring some stuff, and when taking it apart I found these two wire that are not connected to anything.. Any ideas?

Also i'm trying to figure out what this connector went to because it also was not connected to anything. Any ideas?

Not sure about the wires but the plug looks to be for the stock cruise control unit, that would have been right next to fuse box on strut tower. For the wires could someone have wired in a gm maf or maf translator, just a thought.

I would look for wires that have been cut in that area, also turbosax wired his dsm, he could probably help.

Oh ok that is probably right because I have no cruise control... I suppose someone could have hooked up a maf translator, but to me these wire look to come from the stock bundle. And were part of the wiring in stock form...

Huh? these are the only wires that go to no where.. All other wire are accounted for. No other cut wires. It looks like the two wires come out from the bundle of wires that go to the front 02 sensor.

Do you have the stock boost control solenoid it's two wires from factory. It normally sits right under the intake pipe it's two wires also. Possibly they could have cut them and used them for a different solenoid just a thought. Only other thing that it looks to be maybe is for one of the coolant temp sensors. I just went out and looked at my car an right under the filler neck area there is one single connector with a red wire going to it. It seems to be in that same area in the wire loom.

Well maybe they go to a connector, kinda hard to see in that picture, i would keep looking, everything work?

I think I still have the stock boost solenoids, under the air intake are two solenoids that are not used, I actually need to start a thread sometime soon to find out if I can delete those. (because wires still go to them) Anyways, I do have the coolant temp sensor that goes into the thermostat housing it's there and connected, but maybe your talking about a different connector in that same area? More than one coolant temp sensor?

Everything worked fine before taking it all apart.(I am in the middle of a complete build) I havent started the new motor yet, but these wire were not connected to anything before I took everything apart. So I don't need them to be hooked up but I am really curious to figure out what they are for. I redid all the loom on the harness, and that's how I found these wires, they were just wrapped in with the loom.

Then possibly they tapped in for a wideband there instead of at the ecu. Looking at my front o2 connector there is a red a black a yellow and white wires going to it.

I have the red, black, yellow, and white wires that go to my stock front 02. I don't believe there ever was a wideband on this car, but I am adding one in the next month. I picked up the MTX-L wideband.

Ok well not sure bro. But if you need any help or ? about the Mtxl just ask I've been running that wideband for over a year now and love it. Only other thing would be maybe they were ran for something else that isn't in car anymore. Have you tried tracing the wires back to the source may solve the what are they for ?. For the stock bcs if your using ecmlink you can turn it off in the software then unplug and or eliminate wires and bcs. If not I believe it will throw a code and check engine light will come on.

Cool man I will keep you in mind if anything comes up. I am running ecmlink v3. I haven't traced them all the way back because I didn't want to undo the whole entire engine harness. Thanks for your help.

Anyone else have any ideas what these two wires are for? One of the wires is not shielded with plastic on the wire, it is just raw wire strands...The other wire is a real small size with red color plastic insulation.
