and with me having a gst spyder i will have everything to swap over..he wants 1000 for it and before you say hell no, wait he dose body work and paint and when i called him we talked about it and he will do any color i want so it really ant a bad deal i would have to get a new front bumper, fenders, hood thats all and when he is done with the paint just swap everything over...i'm just wanting to know what would i be getting my self in to????

info please!!!!!

i say go for it. if u have the time and dedication you can do it. just hope you st6ick to it and not back out the last minute

Damn that really sucks for that guy.

Anyways that would be one hell of a project for you. You up to it? I would definetly just but the car outright LOL

If you buy that car, you are just setting yourself up for a life filled with problems and misery.

will i'm driving my spyder now but i'm wanting a coupe and 9 times out of 10 what ever i get will need a new paint job anyway so i though this may work, i'm just getting yalls appian....

:ohdamn:

You mean "opinion"???!

And the first thing to note is that you will have to replace the full wire harness for the engine and the rest of the car. If you don't mind that tedious task, then I say go for it...

Lol fire damage doesnt mean you just have to respray it. You will definitely have to replace all the wiring and hoses. My guess is you will have to replace EVERYTHING in that engine bay. If you want a headache, sure go ahead. DSM's are already money pits. The ones that caught on fire and more like money sinkholes.

Wouldnt the fire make the metal really brittle? I wouldnt even start down the road of saving that car.......
