Can this be a boost lag?

Hey guys I took my car to Devo 2uning they fixed most of my problems besides the emissions stuff but the problem im having now is if I'm driving down the road doing the speed limit the car goes from sounding like normal loud like a rocket to sounding like a sti or a weird Harley I have to push the clutch in let it drop back to an idle then hit the gas and it goes away but then comes back a little bit down the road.
now if I step on it she sounds normal some times it ends up doing the same thing "sounding like an sti"
now Devo 2uning said they street tuned it and didn't dyno it because it wouldn't run good on the street witch there right and wrong about
what do you guys think also my idle surge came back small one tho

First things first, get a boost leak test performed. You said that they fixed everything but the emission stuff, well what exactly is wrong with it? Could definitely be leaks that are emission related. Be sure to check around your throttle body for leaks, use soapy water every where. Seems to be a misfire of sorts. But to answer your thread title, could it be boost lag? It all depends on the turbo you have, your profile has no specification to it. I'm assuming that you are running a t-25, so no, I doubt your having lag.

This sounds EXACTLY like what i had going on. Would drive normal, then sound like a wrx, and would only be running on 3 cylinders. My problem was a screwed up injector. Swap injectors, if you dont have another set, shoot me a pm. ive got a flow tested set of stock 450s, that are cleaned are ready to run.

It sounds like a misfire to me. A bad coil or something.

Devo did a boost leak test compression test leak down test installed 1g intake installed y band for tune Afc tune boost controler (hem boost controler)and vacuum lines and stock 450 injectors I had 680s could tune it with them in it I have a presion pre 50 trim Turbo and if you check my other post you can see what was wrong with it

Okay, I know what is wrong with your car. What I meant by the question directed at you was, What is wrong with your emission stuff? Because you said, "they fixed most of my problems besides the emissions stuff". I am trying to figure out what stuff is wrong with your emissions.

My cousin owned the car before me and took most of the emissions hook up plugs etc out I have to go to a junk yard and rip them out of anther dsm
