Can this be a GSX?

Well I am looking into buying a 97 Eclipse, a friend of mine told me it was a GSX but I havent been able to speak to the owner yet, and it is debadged so thats no help. I looked at the car today and it has a stock muffler, it has one pipe coming out of it, dont GSX's and GST's have a dual exit muffler? Any way this is actually a GSX? Thanks for the info in advance.

Man, some mean, bitter people around... anyways I have a TSI with no leather, no abs, and no sunroof... I've seen quite a few GSX's and tsi's with no leather.

if it only had one tip it's not a gsx and dont worry about five SFE any turbo that runs a 15.00 flat is pretty shitty, my scooter can run that... listen to what everyone else said check inside for the boost gauge and underneath for the driveshaft and transfer case... good luck man hope you get it!!!!!!!!

Another thing, the gas tank is more visible from the rear of the car on an awd. I'm not sure if it's because it's bigger or because it's in a different position.... but yeah, that's another indicator.

The reason the gas tank is more visible is because it is moved farther ack to allow room for the rear differential, where as in the gst and n/a models the gas tank is under the back seat.
