can i use a n/t engine harness

ok so i have another delima, my engine harness has fried on me it shorted out and caught fire luckily i ripped the battery out before it could do anything to the car, every junkyard in my area and even the towns next over dont have any turbo engine harnesses, i was planning on maybe using a non turbo harness and use it since i dont have the emissions or solenoids all the junk that would be stock, it would be a simple switch but i need to know if i can get away with not using the resistor box since i have 550cc inj, and a 2g mass, safc and such, and can the 2g mass be wired to the nt harness with ease, i also know i will have to wire in the knk sensor to the ecu, anything else or help is greatly appreciated.

When I turboed my old 1g n/t, the only wiring I had to add was the knock sensor, injector resistor box, and 1 wire for the maf sensor (1g n/t plug has 6 whereas the turbo has 7 wires). I wouldn't hesitate doing it again.

I am installing a turbo into a non turbo'd Eclipse, where were you able to make these modifications and what part of the harness did you tap into?

You cannot use the N/T Harness...

Well technically you can, but there's alot of wiring to be done like the above said...

If your not good with wiring, i would'nt suggest it

7 wires isn't that bad. Wiring the injector resistor box is simple, and adding one wire to pin 9 of the ecu for the knock sensor and one wire (forget which pin) to the ecu for the maf is cake. Converting a 1g n/t to 1g turbo harness is painless.
Back in the day when I did the injector resistor pack.

From my stand point I thank you. I book marked this and copied the scan. This will be something that I WILL have to do. Is there any other information about doing this or was that about it? I like leaving no stone unturned
