can i use a n/t trhottle body on a turbo 4g63?

ok my question is can you use a n/t throttle body on a turbo engine? Because i have 3 different TB and im not sure which one is what. ha-ha thanks

I'm using a n/t throttle body on my setup I believe it's 60mm. This link should help, RREs  Eclipse 2G Turbo 1G Throttle Body Swap. Even though you have a 1g maybe the link will help clear which throttle body is which.

Shouldn't I just had to port my intake Mani abit and change the tps and it bolted right up.

You will have to modify the upper intercooler pipe to fit it.

Oh ya good call bryan! Ya I used a coupler instead of the elbow at least for a 2g. Anyway I used coupler and like a 60* bent ic pipe to make mine work.

Yup its possible. Best part is that you don't break the seal on the tb everytime you want to take off the upper ic pipe.

You guys all forgot that the shaft seals are not the same. You could take the stock seals and flip them over (works for some) or slightly drill out the TB to accept the turbo seals. Hooking it up as is would work, but more then likely you would get boost leaks. I ran one of these a while back until I found a turbo TB..

If you use the turbo sized seals that Motion Industries or ExtremePSI/MachV sell, they will fit in the N/T throttle body without any issues. They have a bit of "squish" to them and turbo seals are only 1mm taller than N/T seals.

yup. I got the ones from machv and they fit. was a tight fit, but it still counts

so what you guys are saying is i could use n/t TB but need to replace the shaft seals from n/t to turbo seals? to be safe? im just trying to eliminate stuff out because my car drops idle when in gear its a/t so im trying to seal the FIAV with a plate and EGR to get rid of that.i don't want to buy the plates if i cant use the TB. ha-ha but thanks guys

If you can find shaft seals for the N/T size, then go for it! But I have yet to see them. Just go for turbo seals.

ok will do. thanks one more question is off topic but if the egr is not in use i have it on i put hoses from one input to the other would that cause problems? im just trying to see if i should just remove it and block it off.
