Trhottle body question

k guys i did a boost leak test on my car today and i found out that my throttle body is leaking..should i just change both of my throttle body gaskets? are both of the gaskets the same? or are they different sizes...thanks in advanced..

I just ordered both gaskets for $10 at SBR. Might as well change them both, in case one gets damaged when you take the TB off. Also, are you sure your throttle body shaft seals aren't leaking also?

i don't know if my throttle body shaft seals are leaking..should i change those too?.. i've been reading about those on vfaq..should i just replace all of them?...

You might as well since you will be taking it off. Its not a hard job at all either just follow the vfaq instructions on changing them

No, they are two different gaskets.

That's also a very common place for a leak - there's a little o-ring on the screw that gets hard with age. Easy to replace. Pick-up a #5 o-ring at the hardware store - size is 3/8 x 1/4 x 1/16. Here's a site with info on how to replace:

I also bought a new BISS, o-ring, and cap for my car with my gaskets. I haven't even done a boost leak test, but I'm covering all my bases and doing some general maintenance.
