I have a 95 eagle tsi. putting a bj's mani on it. its a built 2.0 with worked head 283 cams. planning in running around 30 lbs 35r or precision 6262 or equivelant. some people said go with a 75mm mustang throttle body, others said go 80mm. i run e85 if that makes a difference. have 750cc injectors but will upgrade to 1000's if necessary. deffinantly going for 550+hp. Like to take some suggestions. if the mustang throttle is a good choice not sure what year or 4.6 or 5.0 body i should purchase.

as always
thanks for your time

Yeah i saw that. So i doubt any mustang year will bolt up. i have 1g throttle body. but ide like something bigger for more flow

The 1g will support your 550+ hp goal easily.

And...

I wouldn't worry about the TB; start saving your coins for the larger injectors (much bigger than 1000's) and bigger/additional fuel pump you are going to need, along with a parts replacement fund for the broken drivetrain components.

I have this same BJ's manifold. And I love it. It pulls a lot of power up top. The quality is excellent. I actually called the guy that made this manifold. He said that back in the day he built them for a group of DSM'ers that wanted him to make them. He doesn't make them anymore.

As far as the TB, I still use the stock 2g one LOL.

On a side note, I developed a crack in this manifold on the runner for cylinder #4, so I had it rewelded and had the machine shop here at work make a brace for it so it wont crack anymore. I guess the weight of the TB assembly and piping was to much for it. The metal is getting old/fatigued at this age, but good find. :hellyeah:
