Can i Use FWD engine wiring harness with AWD ECU ????

Hi everybody,

is the FWD 1g turbo 91-94 wiring harness same as the AWD 1g turbo 91-94 wiring harness ? i really want to know this , because i already have MD166262 AWD ECU and i want to know can i run it with FWD wiring harness or not ?

Yes!....

The pinouts are the same from 1g ECU's so the Wiring Harness's are the same, we did one on a friends car.

Yes you can run the automatic wiring harness with the manual ECU and manual transmission.

I want to change my Manual damaged 91-94 1g turbo engine wiring harness with Uncut Auto 1g 91-94 turbo wiring harness .
There isnt need any modification on using Auto wiring on Manual Ecu and Manual engine ?

The automatic harness isn't plug and play, you would have to modify it just like you would when doing the swap. Besides all the extra wires for the TCU there is one wire at the ECU that is different for the park/neutral switch. It's normally grounded on a manual car. There there is the whole CSS and starter issue and if you have an alarm it's even more involved.

Are you still trying to hook the Microtech up?
