Can i use an AWD ECU on a FWD??

Well i bought DSMlnk for my 95 GST and it resulted that it didn't have eprom on it, can i use a 1995 GSX eprom ECU for the DSMlink on my GST and have it worked correctly.

yes but please bear in mind that AWDs did not have a speed limiter but the FWD did, so there is a risk of possible saftey from exceeding the speed rating on your tires. (H rated). Please read the VFAQ here about that: http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/speedlimiter.htm FYI you will not need to do this since DSMlink gets rid of the speed limit and being you now have a AWD ECU but your tires may not be rated for speeds greater than 130.

Last note, DSMlink was one of the best purchases for my car for what it does. Be sure to download the newest jar file and program.
