Can I bolt up a t28 to my 2g with a 14b?

My 14b has a little in and out play so im looking to buy a t28 from a friend to replace it for $100. Would I be able to bolt it right up or will I have to fab a few things to make it fit since I have the 14b on there(didnt install it). If its too much ill jst buy another 14b for $50 to replace. Only looking to make 280w on a AFC/450s(or 550s)

Also, will I be able to run the turbo fairly well with jst 450s or will I be forced to buy 550s+ to really feel its potential? I'm under the impression its a lot like a 16g as in it needs particular mods to really use it right.

I would just get another 14b and then spend your money on supporting mods, injectors, pump, afpr, wide band, and a logger. If you are running a 14b on a 2g, then you already have a 16g install kit. And that is the first step to running a number of better MHI turbos. You would basically have to undo all of that to run a garret turbo. I'm not saying it would be difficult to do, thats just my .02

i got a garrett t28 and i love granted mines bigger then the normal t28, still its an amazing turbo and i beat out my friend by a few cars and his car is alot more heavily modded and he has a evoIII 16g imo its worth it price seems fair also
