Cams?

I never heard my car sound like this before. The previous owner knew of nothing done to it so i didnt either. But i got the RPMs to go to about 750 and i heard this. Was wondering if it had like 272s or something.

Definitely no cams, it sounds like you have an exhaust leak before the muffler or something wrong with the muffler.

No leaks i know that for a fact.

Your engine idles like any other stock cam 4g63, there is just some extra noise there possible due to the muffler.

You could just take out all of the dozen or so 10mm bolts that hold the valve cover down and see for yourself..

Sounds to me like it's running on 3 cylinders, def no cams there
