Cams for NA 4g63

Ok im doing a build everythings stock right now problem is im really putting alot of money into this about $1300 as of right now for EVERYTHING, pistons, recon rods and crank, oil pump waer pump, etc etc etc, ALL from DSM graveyard.

But im not going to be making any more powr then stock

Dsm graveyard has some 272-274- and bigger cams, all i need is the cam and springs.

The sale is $350 for Cams and springs

I was thinking about getting some 272's BUTTTTTT i tought NA engines need LIFT not DURATION??? please give me your view on this

I would save my money. I doubt that will help you much. If you want to increase performance, I would look into a turbo swap (now is the perfect time since you are replacing the pistons anyways )

god.......... but see the funny thing is, if i wanna go turbo down the road id run like 5 psi..... on this engine

If you change the pistons, then it's just like having a turbo block (minus the oil squirters) and you can run as much boost as you want. That's the beauty of it.

U know what!!!!!! u just changed my life dude , tomorrow im ordering turbo pistons thanks man..... ill run 5 psi to start with till i get a turbo trans and etc.... But yeh thanks for the inspiration
