91' eagle talon tsi awd manual.

Decided I was going to finally start my wiring tuck job. Removed all three main harness's that come out of the fire wall. Have my game plan of what I want to do.

However, inspecting my wiring and peeling the sheathing/tape off the engine harness. I'd spend more time repairing wiring as I go or moving the harness where I want it.

I can live with butt connecting one or two broken wires, but the wiring in general is shot. Half the harness and wiring is fluid soaked, brittle, and connectors are broken or missing the hold down pins. So I'm at the point of taking the harness completely out and starting from scratch with new wiring. I'm refraining from getting a different harness as I'd rather just get all new and be done with it for another 20+ years.

I have a local electrical company that's been pretty good for other projects, but they weren't able to use a make and model. They need part numbers to at least cross reference.

I need part #'s for:
- terminal pins (male & female)
- connectors
- hold downs/lock pins (injector, tps,etc...)

* tried finding these #'s but could only find pin out locations and ecu connector #'s. Any guidance or links would make a world of difference.

This is where I shop, great quality and very knowledgeable about our cars connectors. I always get extra pins and insulators when I order too which is a plus in case you goof one up. He is a member of our forum. :thumb:

And we have this vendor(they are at the bottom of this page, OHM Racing), but I personally haven't used them.

Sheridanengineering gets a :thumb: from me. I built my entire harness from his connectors. Make sure you buy the right crimping pliers for the terminals or get them with pigtails and use butt connectors with heat shrink.

Yeah I have the special crimp pliers. I've don't a couple custom harness's/ tuck jobs. By no means am I great at it, but I know enough to be dangerous :D

If I do have to go the pigtail route to get a certain connector, I won't use the wires. I really try to stay away from butt connecting even using a bare butt connector with shrink tube because it tends to add bulk to it and I'm kinda ocd when it comes to the aesthetics. However, I will if I screw it up or left with no other option. Thanks for the links and info guys! :)

Did a tuck and rewire job on a 61 corvette w/ a 96 grand sport lt4 power plant.

If you go through part numbers, you will hit a dead end with most of them because they are sold only in bulks of 2500 or more in most cases, You only have couple of options here with some vendors.
There is different kind of terminals through the harness depending on the series of the connector, we can help you out to gather everything together if you can send us pictures or tell us what connectors you need, and we can get it out within a day.

Currently we have every connector, terminal and seals on the 1G & 2G engine harness in stock. :thumb:
