the header market for the na is a joke. dc only sells ceramic and it over 300.. and also hearing bad things about pacesetter. obx and megan header is crap. ebay headers are crap and cheap. the flange never seems to mount up nice to the tube. we need something nice like the long tube header that bullet has... something with a bigger diameter tube and 2.5 inch outlet to the test pipe.

How about an adapter plate to hook up an AWD tranny!! Then you can mount the rear awd subframe and have an AWD 420a-t!

I know when I had my GS with turbo I could never get traction.

+1 on the manifolds

matching manifold/downpipe combo?

bigger throttlebody?

i know you guys kick ass with welding, if you can match the quality on tuning software i would test it for you :)

For the turbo manifolds, also having it flanged and fitment for a Mitsu style would also help out some. Especially on this site where it is overpowered by 4g63's, people can pick up 14b's and 16g's for cheap. But then they'd have to go look for a T3 hotside for it and it's not too easy. Plus, I'm sure it would look kick ass like everything else out of your shop :thumb:

+1 :thumb:

14b's and t28's are a dime a dozen out here for cheap's. a MHI turbo manifold flange would be a for sure buy for me! and i Know a lot of others too!

1. more tranny stuff like people said : clutch kits, LSDs...

2. more tunning devices since there is only 2 good ones

3. may be a nice ram horn style exhaust mani

4. defiantly some good set of cams

5. also fuel return and feed kit that be nice

Better turbo exhaust manifolds and intake manifolds would be awesome, also a bolt-on downpipe for them thats bigger than 2.25 inches would be amazing... one that doesn't require custom fitting.

I read on the srt forums a while back that rage-tek(also a dsmtuners member) was experimenting with a dogbox tranny setup for there turbo 420a drag car. I haven't heard anything else about it since, but they are the only ones I know of who have explored it.

Also, I just saw on ebay where they do sell timing, alternator and power steering belts made my gates racing.

+1 on other axle options. I've read where the fidanza axles don't work well on our cars due to a problem with there length or fitment in the tranny I believe. DSS is the only option we have as of now. Great quality and expensive. But, you get what you pay for.

Another thing I think that would be great are alternative hi-perf. radiator hoses. Gates Racing makes exceptional ones at a good price. But a while back a 2gnt.com member got in touch with samco and had them make a short production run of hoses for our car. Not sure if there still offered, but it would be nice to have a little more variety.

Yea we currently have it in 2 of our 10.5 srt-4 cars and one road race srt-4 and :hmm:15 min before we saw this thread we were making measurement and trying to figure out what would be needed for a clutch for our 420a race car and also a dog box configuration:hellyeah:. And since we are the leading srt-4 custom parts manufacturing company we were also throwing around the idea of a drop in no hassle srt-4 swap with additional tuning/plug and play>:thumb:

No no no. We already have a great off the shelf mani (symtec), we already have a great TB (Modern performance), designing an LSD is a HUGE feat, heat shields are something that really won't be a huge seller because we have so many varied turbo setups out there, and if we have 3-4 GOOD choices for pistons do we need a 5th?

I agree there has been and always will be a demand for intake mani's as our options are laughable, but if you really want to take us where no company has before - help us mod and tune our stock ECUs. Get us something that's OBD-II compliant and won't spit out a CEL every 5 minutes. Get us somethng where we can actually play with timing and injector duty cycles without having to deal with a megasquirt option (because all of us don't have that much time to dedicate to such a project, as cool as it is). And make it compatible across the OBDII years (96-99) but have the OBDI (95) option there too.

I supposed I'm dreaming though... ;) But can you imagine, instantly solving EVERY 2gnters CEL EVAP codes, emissions codes, high boost issues with timing, and so on?

artindsm: The A855 swap-kit idea would be FAR more likely than an Evo motor swap.

rage-tek: Any piston manufacturer will cut pistons to your specifications, as I'm sure you're aware, though some other mass produced piston options would be nice. I

I would buy a clear timing cover in a second
3 in downpipe
Another exhaust manifold option
A nice intercooler with a short route set up and a choice of bov fittings
A set of aftermarket mounts other than prothane

YES PLEASE!!! I also think there would be a bigger 420a crowd if this was already available to us.

+3 Intake Manifold, Tubular Turbo Manifold, ECU upgrades!!!

Intake manifold would be GREAT!!! That OBX one just fits in there! If you don't have upgraded engine mounts, you can count on a *thud* every time you accelerate.
There are quite a few clutch options out there, you just need to hunt in all the right places (thats what i found...)

Top/Bottom end rebuild kits would be nice as they're few and far between.

thought of another one, aftermarket synchros with out the damn paper backings so we could use normal gear oil, a cheaper set of axles, a stroker kit that doesnt come from howell automotive, and a kicked out oil pan.
