Hello people iam torn between running c16 or e85 on a fp3065, I have 750cc injectors currently, my tuner says to run e85 at the boost level i want to run i need to upgrade my injectors and eventually my fuel pump. Well my question is can I run 30psi on C16, 750cc inj. and a 255 walbro fuel pump? also I do have meth injection. Also am I able to have a tune for 93oct/meth at about 20-23 psi and when i want to run C16 just turn up the boost to 30psi? thanks in advance for your input.

what are you gonna use to tune?

On c16 your gonna max the pump/injectors out pretty quick, e-85 requires quite a bit more fuel usage to make the same power, thus, your gonna overrun 750's very fast on e-85

750cc injectors on e85 will give you about 300-400hp because you will run out of fuel fast. 750cc are not enough to support a 3065 with pump gas and pump gas stoich is 14.7 and E85 is 9.7. the stoich for c16 is 15.5 so you require less fuel but i still doubt 750cc will cut it. The advantage of using e85 over c16 is that the fuel is so cold that it will increase the density of the air and create more power. The drawback is to make power you will have to drop down to air fuel ratios of 6.9 and this will probably require you to run an extra fuel pump and 1600cc injectors. C16 you will be fine with 1000cc's

well injectors and pump it is. I already have a walbro 255 is there a way to supply the fuel i need without breaking the bank like maybe adding a inline pump?

A Bosch 044 is a nice inline pump and should support the fuel needs you want. Another option would be to keep your injectors and buy a set of 1050 cc injectors and run a dual bank setup. This will give you a nice idle/streetability, yet still flow enough for high boost on E85. I highly recommend not using a chip to tune as E85 does not knock a little before it blows your engine. It just goes straight to blowing a hole in your block/ head. I recommend AEM EMS, or DSMLink V3 if you are on a tight budget.

If he was burning his own eproms, that would be a budget setup and cost much less than v3 or ems

I'm on e85 and a Keydiver chip and everything is fine, so don't worry about that. I am also using only a single in-tank 255 (rewired) to feed 950's, and although you'll be moving more air than I am with my 16g, I think you'll be OK with just the 255. Buy bigger injectors as everyone else has said, and if you are running out of fuel, then add a pump later, but I wouldn't bother with that expense at this point.

Here's a thread with e85 pump/injector/airflow information so that you can see where you'll be with a given setup.

I think you should upgrade the fuel pump. It may be enough but its not worth running lean when you go out tuning. People have made well over 550whp on e85 with your turbo and thats cutting it close on a 255lph.

Once you get everything set up, a chip is fine. It was the way of the Grand Nationals in the 80's. DSMLink is really just a real time chip burner. It does everything that a chip does, only there is no need to pull it out, and reburn it. Also, there is a built in datalogger so everthing can go a lot faster and smoother. The new V3 though can do more than what a chip can do though.
