You don't need the flapper mod. well 550s would be enough. What type of fuel management are you going to use? Since you plan on getting a large fuel pump maybe that is an indication of wanting to go bigger in the future. You might want some larger injectors for some room to grow. Remember you need to control those injectors first, so make sure you have a way to control them before you install them.

If you are going DSMlink I reccomend 1000cc injectors because one day you may want a bigger turbo. If just a safc 650's would be more than enough. Dont get the flapper or have it clipped. Porting so that it will not creep is necessary if you are running 3" exhuast. what are you going to run for Engine managment?

running dsmlink, just bought that recently. I dont want to go over 18-19 psi.
Definitely having it ported since i have 2.5 inch exhaust. do you recommend a 255 or is re-wired 190 enough for less than 20 psi?

Im sorry, I just don't see why you don't want to run over 18psi. You getting a e16g, why not use it to its potential? Since you have dsmlink you might aswell go overkill with your fuel system.

alright, lets say i do run over 20 pounds, when is my head gasket gonna go? less than 1000 miles ago i did timing belt and head gasket, new plugs, wires, full exhaust, intake..
compression test- very good.. i dont feel like doing all that work again because i ran too much boost.

i want the e16g because i want an efficient street car, and my 14b is pretty much shot, lots of cracks and getting shaft play

You should be fine. An OEM gasket holds it own pretty well. Im sure others with more experience will agree with me.

Since you have dsmlink then go with monstor injectors(1000cc) since the EMS can handle it and you would never need to buy any larger. Also ive seen people run 30psi on stock good well taken care of motors with no problem. I wouldnt go over 24-26psi myself. Also since you have 2.5 inch exhaust you will most likely NOT have creep problems. The more restrictive the exhaust the less chance of creep, but I would port it anyways.
