Theres a local guy here in puerto rico that he is selling me a 3 in GM sensor and a MAF translator version 2.01 for 2g dsm. The deal is for $150 and i want to know, how do i know that its in good working conditions and that he is selling me the the 2G DSM transator and not from another car? He said that hes got everything ready for instalation. What are the complete things that i need for install it so when ill go and buy it ill buy the whole thing i mean not missing cables or plugs and all that.

what are th things that i should check before buying it?

The MAFT unit has two harnesses coming off of it. The two harnesses go to the GM MAF and your stock MAS harness. As long as you have the unit and a GM MAF, it is plug and play (except for tapping into an RPM source).

You could have the seller take a picture of the harness to make sure that it looks like the 2g MAS plug.
