I have a 92' GSX. I found a guy on craigslist selling a 4g63 block and I want to go pick it up today so I can start putting together my new engine with the stroker kit I'm about to buy. I was just wondering what kind of things I should look for to make sure its in good shape. He said it was hot tanked and has a balance shaft eliminator kit on it. I'm aware of the general things to look for, but my goal is to eventually get into the 9's so I'm going to be making some big power and I was just wondering if there is anything in particular I should look out for in making sure the block is good enough for this kind of a build. Thanks. The stroker kit is a Brian Crower 2.4L with the pro series rods. I'll be ordering it in July. $$$$! I know. I've been saving.
