Burning Coolant?!?!

I constantly have to keep refilling my coolant reservoir so I think im burning some because theres white exhaust coming out of the muffler sometimes. What could have caused this?! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Guys

Chances are very good it's the head gasket. Do a leak down test to be sure.

A dead give away would be the fact if you could smell coolant in your exhaust. Most of the time its not that obvious.

But like he said do a leakdown test to make sure.

Eventually there would be.

My turbo just went, and I was having white wmoke come out the muffler. I wasn;t losing any coolant, even though the exhaust smelled of it; it was burning alot of oil though.

Depends on how bad it is. I had an old Saab that dumped so much coolant in one of the cylinders that it never fired at all in the cylinder. So yes, it's possible to have a noticeable power loss, but it's also possible to not notice one.

probably a head gasket, im burning coolant also and i have a newly rebuilt 6bolt, so im sure they ####ed up on the headgasket....i have a good warranty on my motor tho so im not 2 worried about it...if u find its something else, post it and i'll check that on mine
