That's not all bondo, right? You didn't say how you did it, but I'm hoping it was glassed in...not bondo'd. Looks good though man.

I hope he used proper plastic repair materials and not fiberglass or regular body filler.

Depends on the glass and resin he would have chosen to use...the plastic repair would have worked great to fill in the license plate holes, but I don't know how well it would work to fill in the foglight areas...

Hey guys. Sorry about the delay in responding. I used 3m plastic bumper repair along with several layers of backing scrim. After building the patches and getting it close I used Evercoat flexible glaze. Following those steps I used a flexible urethane primer. Fiberglass would crack right off a plastic bumper, with a quickness!

Not trying to be a dick, but you're wrong. You don't use fiberglass to repair anything except for fiberglass. There are proper plastic repair materials (as Gene used) for filling gouges and holes in solid and flexible plastics.

Glad to hear you did it the right way! The most ideal way would have been to use plastic patches made of the same bumper material, but considering you used proper backing material you should have no issues with the way you've done it.

Thanks for all the comments guys! To each his own on looks issues of course and I respect everyone's opinion. I completely agree, in regards to patching the holes with pieces of urethane and plastic welding it all together.

The bumper looks awesome. Great job. If I have enough time to do mine before I get it painted I'll be getting rid of the fog light holes as well. (To bad a vendor doesn't make one without the fog lights) As far as the valve cover goes. It will look really good once it is on the car. It looks plain cause it has nothing to accent it, once it's on it will POP!

love me some 2gb shaved bumpers, "and like said above, it does look aftermarket", and nice shave on the cover too. it does need some black contrast or something but some color would make it POP more
