I would suggest you search the forums. This turbo has been talked to death. Theres alot of information for you to make a decision plus theres a thread that slowboy made showing dyno information as well. But if 350whp is all you want then get the e16g or the 50trim.

I had 3 of them already on previous cars.. I have made a few threads a LONG time ago, And also several posts about them in other peoples threads. It sounds ''cheap'' at first, Until you ad up the cost of the internal wg, the oil feed and drain lines, a 3" intake or a coupler and some rigging to your stock intake, Etc..

say i have the lines and 3" intake already. And im not worried about the internal wg. What do you think of this turbo as far as me hitting my goals on pump gas and being a daily driver.

I am also interested in how this compares to an E316g. If anyone can link me to some threads of discussion about it, I'd be greatful. I am going to do a search and see if I come up with anything.

The V trim will not make as much power as the MHI Evo III 16g.

I was hoping it would, but it will not work well above 18-19 PSI for us. It is a great little turbo, but I have some 57 trims from BEP right now that I can let go very inexpensive. These will do 350 on pump easily.

i opted for the v trim instead of the 57 trim.. i hope itwasnt a mistake...i need to keep the power on the ground..fwd...

awesome guys! those two vids just made my day!

@slowboy
i just want to know(havent strted car yet,missing some small stuff,) do you sell the vtrim with the low pressure wga or a stiffer one..or better, do you have an idea to whats its set at when your shipping em out?? (i got mine from you guys a few months back with the internal 38mm WG)

I do not think we stock less than a 17 PSI actuator on most of BEP turbos, however we have had request leave here with the 11 PSI unit.

Speak to each other like adults, next one will get the thread closed.

:rolleyes: Your point? They're testing on the same dyno...

i'm talking about SBR pulls charts VS. bullseye challenge vids.....

also i find it funny how in the SBR tubo comparisons the evo 16g outperformed almost all of the bigger turbos which flow more by some major horse power while 99% of the time it's always the other way around. Sounds to me like somebody has the tune perfected for the 16g and done mediocare tune on all the other turbos.....
