WTF Please explain.....

well AFAIK compressor surge is cause by air flow back up when ther turbo sucks more air in then the motor is able to consume. The air backs up into the comp wheel.

Adjusting the boost gain on an EBC should solve that problem.

Blow thru setup w/ light bov spring also helps.

I don't know how to put it, they used basically the same tune for each turbo, and IMHO Slowboy has really nothing to gain, to try to make it look like a certain turbo is better than any other (Unless it was specifically their own housebrand). However on the otherhand, it would seem veeeery logical that Bullseye would want to make their turbo look really good against others, for more than obvious reasons.

It really comes down to what you want to believe, versus what you can prove. I'd take Slowboy's testing over any manufacturer's just because I would believe them to want to put a real test against a product, than some company doing its own testing on its own product.

What do you think sells Garrett turbos more. Garrett's amazing amount of information regarding their own turbos, or see'ing how fast every other car is on their turbos?

Yes but every shop and vendor has thier favorites and also thier grudges. Whether it's TRE and Fidanza flywheels or SBR and what they call "junky chinese knock-off pos" evo 16g GT.

BTW the Bullseye turbo challenge is NOT bullseyes own testing.:sneaky: It's a catergory challenge they have going on. Regular individuals that use thier turbos will a cash prize if they reach certain HP or 1/4 categories. Bullseye in return gets their videos, time slips, and dyno charts for promotional purposes.

And that doesn't seem the least bit shady, or completely strange to you? Run Turbo xxx, and win a free lapdance! People's products will inevitably have to go toe to toe with others; and its how the product performs on a widescale to determine is acceptance to the consumers. I know there's a lot of weirdos out there, but they definatly are not the majority, or we'd see everyone running the same exact setup as a lot of successfull professional DSM'rs.

IMHO you are in just denial, of the great potential the e16g has to offer. It is truely a magnificent turbo for its size. SBR's testing, practically all the 1/4 times and dynos on this site prove it. Hell I used to run one, and it was rocking my socks off.

There's no real benefit SBR has even for a grudge or favorite. I can see it now, yesss the e16g beat a GT35R PSI for PSI... that'll hold ever really well. SBR sells a lot of brands, and it wouldn't make any sense for them to try to sell a 'cheaper' turbo than the next guy IMHO. What SBR does is try to really help you make a good desision for your car by actually giving the community a list of turbos they've personally ran, on the same exact motor, and keeping the tune as close to the same as possible for each turbo.

I'm not in denial of anything..... my gsx use to have FP evo 16g....i upgraded to V-trim for a reason.

While the 415whp SBR got w/ thier evo 16g is impressive.....95% of people running evo 16g's are producing nowhere near that much HP......

95% of people running evo 16g's are producing nowhere near that much HP......

And neither do V trim owners. Last time I've read a thread about ballseye turbo, most people in the thread were making like 320whp.

So you mean, the only reason your putting up this giant front, is your trying to justify your decision to purchase and run a v-trim ? Now your posts are actually making sense, in the retarded way.

not i'm saying what Mike said about V-trims being only good for low 300 whp and that evo is better is bunch of bull.....
