Hey guys, I am starting to get bored with my 14b and am kinda lookin for a new turbo. I'm just lookin to run mid 12's on pump. I've been trying to research the to4b vtrim, but havent been able to find much. Please no 16g advice, as I wanna do something different, everyone around here has a 16g. My mods are in my profile, along with a front mount this spring. Keeping in mind I dont mind a little slower spool, do you think I would like the vtrim?

Why vtrim? How about externally gated 50 trim? You will need to upgrade those 550s though. I have 650s and my idc is already too high so I'm putting in 950s to leave plenty of room. But the Bullseye T04b 50 trim I have is probably the best deal going for that size turbo out there right now...$700 from extremepsi. Spools little over 3500. Get a tial 38 off an o2 housing and you're set. I think a vtrim is in between a evo3 and a 50 trim in flow.

Yea i've considered a 50 trim. But then again everyone around here either has a 50 trim or an e316g. I kinda figured I would need some bigger injectors, but I am on a tight budget right now. I'd love to go with an external gate, but thats kinda out of my price range at the moment. I'm kinda thinking about just getting some cams and maxing out the 14b for now, I should be in the 12s with that.

Oh I've got all the mods to get the 14b into the 12s. I'll be doing a front mount this spring also. If its not in the 12s as it sits right now, I would be VERY surprised. I can pull slightly on my friends 03 evo with an mbc, fuel pump, catback, supertech valvetrain and hks 272s.
