Pressure source for a Boost Controller or whatever else you want to use it for...

I can't tell if that circled object is on the compressor cover or behind it......

It is on the bottom of the compressor housing.

Then in that case, CanadianTSi is correct. You compressor housing is tapped for a pressure source (most commonly used for a wastegate pressure source) and instead of threading a vacuum nipple in there, someone simply plugged it. :dsm
