The real issue is most likely they are going to be on the same day out of spite tward's Dave Buschur. So it's likely one or the other.

I thought it was basically agreed not to do that again? Out of spite for D Buschur, they're spiting a whole lot of other dsmers who don't go to Ohio for D. Buschur, they go to get together with other dsmers and evo owners. It'd be nice to have two opportunities to do that.

If Buschur isn't interested in some sort of TD05H race, Ill see if I can get something going on here. Etown has about 14 staging lanes, I have a feeling we might be able to get our own...even if we have to self police the tech or something.

I would be in support of a stock frame turbo race at the showdown if slicks are allowed (at least for FWD's). I'd also like it if wherever the race is held, that tech rules are followed. The reason being is that I have spent time and money keeping my car safe. That is time and money I could have spent on more go fast parts and I often feel penalized for playing by the rules.

I'm hearing that the NJ Showdown is Oct 23rd so there is no conflict with the Ohio Shootout. But it turns out my wife wants to leave on August 15th for our annual family vacation to Florida, so it looks like I'm sunk for racing in ohio anyway. sucks.

Id love to see Phil's car in person. Hell running times like that he is pretty competitive in the DSE class, in this DST class as they are calling it, he will mop up..

If this was for the NJ shoot out i would put my money in, but i can't say i'll be able to make it out for a race weekend in Ohio.
